Firstly, thanks for those who checked out the Anniversary Special video - Sunday will be part two. If you haven't caught part one yet, you can enjoy watching me struggle up many hills.

In the meantime, here's a shoulder post from the Inner City

Finally, we're done with the suburbs that you all voted into equal-fifth. That means this next suburb had the fourth most votes right? Well, no, it was equal third due to my poorly thought out polling.

Still, I always enjoy an urban walk, so thank you for sending me to

Hello.

As you may be expecting, due to the Sydney lockdown this will be my last of these for a while.

This post itself was documented early in the stay-at-home restrictions, while on a legal walk for exercise from my house. As you'll see from the photos, there were loads of people out and about - and I was one of them. While I could potentially make some blog posts within 10km walking distance from home while getting my exercise in, I think it is the wrong message to send when we've been in lockdown for more than a month and case numbers are still rising.

No matter where in Sydney you are, please do the right thing so that we can get back to normal as soon as possible.

Centennial Park

Centennial Park is a funny suburb. It is a suburb, despite just being a park. It's a large park, but it is a park nevertheless.

I entered on foot, through the main entry gates for cars, bikes, people,

I'm back! With restrictions starting to ease in NSW, I'll be getting back into things. At first, I'm going to just go back with one post per week. This will be my first regular post again, and I'll be posting every Sunday after that.

I'm usually a heavy user of public transport for this blog, and I'm choosing not to spend as much time on public transport as before, hence the reduced posting frequency for now. We'll see how we go and hopefully I can ramp back up sooner rather than later.

Anyway.

There's a dumb little tag somewhere at the bottom of this website where I say something about this city being much more than hipster brunches. Well this next suburb is the absolute pinnacle of that.

I've always been a bit cynical towards the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, but this suburb here really challenged my prejudice. Grab yourself something to drink folks, because this is another long one.

Paddington

Sitting immediately South-East of the city, you might be surprised to hear that one of the ways to get into Paddington is by walking through the extremely "bushy" Trumper Park. Crossing through from Edgecliff, that's how I got here today.
